Naama Guggenheim

TOO cool for the world, sometimes. Out of the ordinary? Naaa... The lady of the world knows her worth. The fact that she can also make music is the icing on the cake, so to speak.

The icing on the cake is a good keyword. Because there are few voices that can envelop you like velvet and silk. The Israeli Naama Guggenheim is one of them. Yet she remains incredibly cool and casual despite all the seductive timbre. Chill jazz pop meets RnB.

Her first song came out a month ago and is called Unappealing. There is a motley sea of sound in the background, stylistically playful but not overzealous and completely in tune with the RnB soul of this gem. Naama sings of the strength she has found. "I wrote this song for myself to convince myself that I could do better, it was a real life saver." Velvety, smooth, yet cool as anything. Yet for all the power, it remains gentle. The word 'honey-sweet' comes to mind... Self-confidence is just as quiet.

The new single Drive Away is about changing what you don't like in life. She was supported this time by producer DB.CHAN. Naama's vocals remain true to Velvet, leaning back into the certainty of cool.

Time for the way too big jackets, boots and sunglasses. Dude, we're cool again.

Listen and Chill
