Blue Babe, stage name of Berlin-based musician Erin Renfro, is an authentic and atmospheric introspection into a darkness not easily shared. The indie/pop - shoegaze/rock singer-songwriter uses her alto voice, cleverly written lyrics, and subtle mastery of electric guitar to create music that reflects the most intimate details of love, loss, identity, and her struggle with shame while surviving. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Erin spent four years studying Music Business and Audio Engineering in Nashville, Tennessee. Inspired by Berlin, she wants to take her artistic work to a new level.

On the meaning of "Always With Me," Erin says: "Its a song about being haunted by an apparition all too real and very much alive. I realized that even though I never saw this person from my past around town, I kept seeing him in every shadow at the gas station, half expected to see him in the aisle at the grocery store, or driving down the same streets he used to drive me home on. And even though I had taken every conceivable step to rid myself of this remnant, I would still find him in my periphery."

"Always With Me" starts off tentatively. Almost as if Blue Babe doesn't dare open her eyes. But the memory is relentless. And so the strong-voiced ballad soars with dreamy guitars to a powerful atmosphere, which give the song a touch of epic.
