Ella Fall

Listening to the music of Ella Fall, you don't want to believe that it is inspired by the darkest sides of humanity. So delicate and melodic, yet with a lot of feeling and substance, the sound pearls live from Ella's vocals and the interplay of organic and inorganic elements. A pure sea of sound!

Constructed around the character Ella Fall, we venture into subject areas that no one addresses: domestic violence, PTSD, miscarriages, and fraud. The goal is to pick up people with similar experiences. Like a fairy godmother who can't undo bad, but can show how to live with pain. A fairy godmother who gives the courage to admit one's fears and overcome them.

Conceived as a pure studio/media project, the artist releases artfully designed video projects to accompany the individual singles. A modern kind of fairy tale that takes up the parallel and illusory worlds between now and the past. Concerts will only be possible in a selected atmosphere with a string quartet. Given the subject matter, that's no wonder.

So far, two singles of hers have been released. Hello Fellow and Bit of the Waste.

Hello Fellow has a very soft timbre. I like the interplay here with her delicate, yet powerful voice and the string instruments. It creates a romantic mood that gives hope, despite the subject matter. Bit of the Waste lives primarily from the layering of vocals to polyphonic choruses that exchange with each other like a mystical fairy choir. We're talking impressive elfin singing on minimalist soundscapes here. At times, everything becomes very dense and dramatic.

Overall, Ella's music is a dreamy atmospheric interplay of light and dark, delicate and powerful. In the process, she scatters hope and understanding. So if you're in the mood for a singing elf who demonstrates the courage to wrap difficult subjects in a special atmosphere, click on the link below and be enchanted. An important and beautiful project that deserves support.

More of this, please...
