Reina Subramanian - dance on the moon

May I introduce? Newcomer Reina Subramanian - the new Olivia Rodrigo and a sparkling star on the pop horizon!

Don't let the doe eyes of this artist mislead you, the lady has it fist thick behind her ears. A young soul who knows what she wants...

The new single dance on the moon was released last week and promises a steep way up. Because although I really give pop charts and radio songs a wide berth, I hope so much that her music will soon be played right there. Between those of the greats.

I’m high on you

She is an absolute multi talent. Actress, singer, model, comes from the musical and dance scene and is a real workhorse! Her personal idols are Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey. A nice collection to which she will soon belong. Her first single, Breathe Slow, was released in December and already boasts over 40,000 streams on Spotify. This song is just dripping with coolness. Deeply relaxed, she sings about summer and winter, is accompanied by bass and synths and floats with her vocals easy peasy on a dreamy sea of sound. That sounds quite grown up. The new song is in no way inferior.

The trademark of the newcomer is her bright, soft voice, with which she enchants and captures her audience. The synths in the background promise a bit of the glitter of the stars in the sky, plus a catchy melody that she sings dreamily, yet full of self-confidence. It doesn't always have to be loud when defending your self-worth.

Dance on the moon is about journey to independence for young women. She motivates her listeners to aim high, never look back and get the most out of life. Everything will be fine if we just learn to love ourselves. Then we can fly on our own and reach for the stars. Who knows, maybe there is a star up there that wants to twinkle with us?
